Warranty Conditions

VanDeBord GmbH grants a warranty of 3 years on brand new, refurbished and used Airline Trolleys and Aviation Boxes. The period for calculating the warranty period begins with the date of invoice. The timely dispatch of the goods together with a copy of the invoice to us shall be decisive for compliance with the warranty period. The territorial scope of the warranty protection is the European Union and Switzerland.

The warranty refers to the absence of defects in the advertised product, including functionality, material or production defects.

Should a defect occur during the warranty period, VanDeBord GmbH shall provide one of the following services at its discretion within the scope of this warranty:

  • Free repair of the goods; or
  • Exchange of the goods for an equivalent item free of charge

Warranty claims are excluded in case of damage to the goods caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper handling
  • Failure to observe safety precautions
  • Use of force (e.g. being hit)
  • In-house attempts at repair

A prerequisite for claiming a warranty service is that VanDeBord is enabled to examine the warranty claim (e.g. by sending in the goods). Care must be taken to avoid damage to the goods in transit by packing them securely. A copy of the invoice of the shipment of the goods must be attached to the warranty claim, so that VanDeBord can check whether the warranty period has been complied with. Without a copy of the invoice, the guarantor may refuse to provide any warranty services. In the case of justified warranty claims, you will not incur any shipping costs, i.e. VanDeBord will reimburse any outbound shipping costs.

This manufacturer's warranty does not limit your statutory rights against us under the purchase contract concluded with us. Any existing statutory warranty rights against us shall remain unaffected by this warranty promise. The manufacturer's warranty therefore does not violate your legal rights, but rather extends your legal position.
If the purchased item is defective, you may in any case contact us within the scope of the statutory warranty, regardless of whether a warranty claim exists or the warranty is invoked.
